The hotel is near the Campo Santi Apostoli and the Ca' d'Oro, one of the most beautiful palaces on the Grand Canal, built between 1424 and 1440 by order of the patrician Marino Contarini as a gift for the woman he loved. Ten minutes on foot through the main shopping streets takes you to St Mark's Square to admire all its precious sights. The building was completely restored in 2000, but still offers guests the intimate and very particular atmosphere of the Venice of the past. Alilaguna launch (blue line running hourly from 10.40 to 19.40) to Fondamenta Nuove stop (40 minutes) then 8 to 10 minutes on foot.
